Graphic User Interface

A graphical user interface (GUI) is a system that allows people to visually interact with images, text, or other forms of media and information. We engage with GUIs dozens of times, or more, each day. This course emphasizes the importance of information architecture and the utilization of solid design principles when creating a graphical interface. Through this course, you will learn how to use different software tools to design, implement, and produce a GUI. Our efforts will be mostly concentrated on creating web/internet projects, as these will allow for the exercise of ideas and tools across the entire design spectrum.
